
ASIVO is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting international volunteer service. It was founded in 2012 by Dalila J., one of six Mozambicans who successfully participated in the Africa/Canada Eco-Leadership Program (ACELP) by Canada World Youth during 2006–2007 in both Canada and Mozambique. The organization was officially recognized by the Ministry of Justice in May 2013.
ACELP is a program based on the learning of personal and professional skills that are intended to increase the capacity of young people to participate actively in the development of just, harmonious, and sustainable societies.

ABOUT US
In addition to joining the ACELP in Canada, Dalila worked as a program officer with international volunteer organizations, which provided her with opportunities to travel to countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Portugal, the United States, India, South Africa, Swaziland, and Malawi as part of her work with the organization.
